FAQ & Links
These are questions our customers frequently ask:
A: Captive bred fish and inverts are better for your tank, your pocketbook, and the ocean's reefs.
- better for your tank because captive bred animals are already accustomed to aquarium life, and arrive at your store free from injury, parasites, and diseases. They are much more hardy than wild caught specimens.
- better for your pocketbook, because they arrive alive and healthy with significantly less shipping stress, so you can sell them at profit, and you are less likely have to refund the customer for dead animals.
- better for the ocean because for every captive bred clownfish you buy, you save one on the reef, helping to maintain the fragile ecosystem. In addition, for every captively propagated anemone you buy, you save the lives not only of the wild anemone it replaces, but the entire colony of clownfish who depend on the wild anemone for survival.
